Summer Reading

So, my favorite part about summer is deciding what to read next.  There’s nothing but reruns on the television in the summer, and most of the summer replacement shows are lame, and network television has pretty much lost it’s spark anyway with a few exceptions, and it’s just a nice way to wind down and end the day: pick up a good book and read for an hour or two.  Something new or something old, it doesn’t matter much to me, because I love re-reading my favorites as much as the discovery of something absolutely new and unexpected and wonderful.

The kids have started back to school already here in Nowhere, Kentucky, but my summer reading lasts and lasts and lasts.
